GuruScript is a chocolatey medium-dark roasted blend.

The team at New Instance Coffee is excited to announce that GuruScript is in production! This is a spectacular blend of four beans, spanning the coffee growing globe: Brazil, Indonesia, India, and Ethiopia. While JavaScript was created in 10 days, this work of art blend was fashioned over two months of user acceptance testing. We absolutely love this coffee!

Normally, cheering up a JavaScript developer requires you Console them, but with the creation of GuruScript, debugging now becomes a thing of the past. No more NaN errors or promises without callbacks. With GuruScript on your side, bugs don't stand a chance; moreover, happiness is secured, you'll finally understand this, and use semicolons properly.

Each 12 oz bag of coffee is $20 + $6 for shipping and handling. Purchase 3 or more bags for shipping is free! Use the shipit coupon code to unlock free shipping. Also, if you are local to the San Jose, CA area, use the localpickup coupon code to save on shipping.

Scoping variables might be tricky in JavaScript, but GuruScript is a straightforwardly amazing coffee. No tricks and all treats. A warm cup of GuruScript will have you so laser focused on cranking out code, they'll call you a Web 4.0 developer!

About GuruScript

This espresso blend is a harmonious amalgamation of beans from Ethiopia, Indonesia, India, and Brazil, each contributing to a rich tapestry of flavors that culminate in a truly exceptional coffee experience. The beans from the Guji zone of Ethiopia provide a blueberry fruitiness. The Javanese beans, hailing from the volcanic soils of Indonesia, offer a deep, earthy base with hints of smooth chocolate and a whisper of smoky undertones, providing a robust foundation for this blend. The beans from India introduce a slightly spicy twist, reminiscent of the exotic aromas of the local spice markets, adding complexity and a warm, inviting character. The Brazilian beans, sourced from the highlands, bring a nutty, slightly sweet profile with notes of caramel and cocoa, perfectly rounding out the blend.

We sourced a number of global coffees before arriving on a blend combining our four favorites:

  • Natural Brazilian from Cerrado
  • Natural Ethiopian from Guji
  • Semi-washed Indonesian from Mandheling
  • "Monsoon" processed Indian from Malabar

We roasted in batches by origin and then blended them into GuruScript. The exact proportions of each roast are a big secret. We most certainly obfuscate everything before deployment.

Tasting notes

This espresso blend has a full-bodied texture, a testament to the high-quality beans and the precision in their roasting. Upon the first sip, you're greeted with the smooth, chocolatey base of the Javanese beans, which then unfolds into the spicy, intriguing layers provided by the Indian beans. A blueberry sweetness pervades slightly through the Ethiopian beans; while the finish is sweet and slightly nutty, thanks to the Brazilian contribution, leaving a delightful aftertaste that lingers, inviting another sip.

This blend is not just a coffee; it's an invitation to journey through the coffee-growing regions of the world, experiencing the unique contributions of each through the lens of a meticulously crafted roast. Plus, it'll ensure you remain a 10x Developer.
